2020 – About to Be Playing Cards, Solo Exhibition at Drivin’ Jazz, Tel Aviv
This solo exhibition was part of the “Drivin’ Jazz” event series held at the Solelim parking lot in Tel Aviv. The show featured fourteen original ballpoint pen drawings on white paper, created during a residency-style period at Café Tachtit, which temporarily became Shani’s studio. The works were part of her ongoing exploration of hybrid figures—human bodies with animal heads—and were later turned into a pack of playing cards, which was the original intent behind the drawings.
