2024 – Dogs of New York, Solo Exhibition at Moshava Gallery, New York, NY
This solo exhibition presented Shani’s “Dogs of New York” series, which began as a project to create dog illustrations for postcards. The drawings were made in sketchbooks she carried with her through the city, capturing a variety of dog breeds and the neighborhoods they appeared in. The exhibition also included selected works from her earlier series, “Fitting In.” All pieces were drawn in ballpoint pen, a medium Shani uses both in illustration and tattooing. The show reflected her perspective as an observer of New York life and its small, meaningful moments.​
