“During the Covid pandemic, I found myself spending a significant amount of time in Tel Aviv with my jazz musician partner (now my husband). Due to restrictions, we spent many days at the jazz club Beit Haamudim. It was there that I truly discovered the captivating, magical world of jazz. Immersed in the playful wordplay, slang, and deep respect that jazz musicians have for their craft, I felt inspired to use my voice as an artist to bring this unique community to a broader audience. Through this series, I honor jazz legends and aim to connect with people who may not have appreciated jazz before—inviting them to experience its magic firsthand.
